Randall Cunningham: An Eagles Great

Before we get into part 3 about Doug Pederson, I wanted to talk about an Eagles legend. He was one of my parents favorite players and I want to talk about the great career he had. Cunningham played 16 years with the Eagles, Vikings, Cowboys, and Ravens. He was a 4 time Pro-Bowler and 1 time All-Pro. His best stretch was from 1988-1990 where he played 16 games three times consecutively. He was a Pro-Bowler each time and averaged 3558 yards and 25 touchdowns a season. He also averaged 729 yards and 5 touchdowns on the ground. His best single season was in 1998 with the Minnesota Vikings. After a couple years of retirement, injuries, and ineptitude. Cunningham threw for 3704 yards and 34 touchdowns and only 10 picks. He was named first team All-pro after going 13-1 in the game he started. A better season then any in Troy Aikman’s career. He then finished his career as a backup for the Cowboys and Ravens. He is now the Raiders team chaplain, hoping to mentor some of the younger guys and maybe just maybe get a Super Bowl ring in the process.
