Jalen Hurts: The tragedy of a Quarterback Problem

Jalen Hurts, are you kidding me. You’re giving me hope. We haven’t seen this type of quarterback play for over a year. Wentz was benched and you come in and perform this way!! This Sunday against the Cowboys will be another test, an NFC East division game, no matter how terrible the division is, will always be a contest. Hurts must go out there and win for us to have any shot at the playoffs. But unfortunately we have lost too many games for it to be on our terms how we get there. The Washington Football Team plays the Carolina Panthers on Sunday at the same time and that will decide the division. If you would have told me that the NFC East would come down to Washington vs Carolina and Cowboys vs Eagles with Jalen Hurts coming off a 400 yard 4 touchdown game, I would have called you crazy. But here we are, I am praying that Alex Smith can’t start on Sunday so Dwayne Haskins, the most recent Ohio State quarterback bust, can go out and probably lose the game for the Football Team, whose name is very much growing on me. Hurts has played some of the best football by a rookie QB this season for the last two weeks. I really hope its not a fluke. I am very worried about the upcoming quarterback situation for next year. Wentz is probably going to want to start, and for all the work he puts in and how deep he has made his roots here in the Philadelphia area, I can’t see him being let go. Trading Hurts might be something that is not well liked by fans but might bring overall success to the team. I am torn because winning out and maybe sneaking into the playoffs gives us a pretty abysmal draft pick, but if we lose out and get a Top 7 pick it will help with the future of the franchise. Go Birds, cheering for a good game on Sunday, still undecided on if I want a win or not.
