Mike Trout: Is he already the G.O.A.T ??

Everyone already knows that Mike Trout is the best player of the 2010s and the best player in the MLB right now. What about on an all time scale? In my opinion Babe Ruth is the GOAT, Ted Williams a close second, and Barry Bonds at 3. Even if Trout only plays another 3 seasons he will be considered as at least top 10 maybe even top 5.

For his career so far Mike Trout has hit .305/.419/.581 with 285 homers, 752 RBI’s, 903 runs scored, and 200 stolen bases. Through nine full seasons he has 9 all star appearances, 8 silver sluggers, 3 MVPS, 1 Rookie of the Year, and 4 second place finishes in the MVP voting. He has amassed 72.8 WAR so far and is an outstanding defensive center fielder.

Over the past two seasons Trout is averaging 50 homers, 109 RBI’s, 21 stolen bases, 125 runs and 31 doubles per 162 while hitting .302/.449/.637. Mike Trout has led the league in WAR in every full season of his career, that means every year since 2012. Mike Trout is an all time great and when it is all said and done he may well be the best.
